What’s the role?
As an HR Business Partner you are a generalist in playing a crucial role in providing a wide range of HR services to our valued employees. You will collaborate closely with our HR Management Team and Specialists, ensuring compliance with internal policies, Employment Standards, Human Rights, Collective Agreements, recruiting and relevant regulatory requirements. Your expertise and contributions will make a meaningful impact in fostering a positive and supportive workplace environment.
Your duties also include:
- Building relationships with managers and employees within their community, developing trust and credibility as a business partner, enabler and trusted advisor.
- Supporting a respectful and positive workplace culture, providing advice and support to mangers and contributing to a positive employee experience.
- Supporting talent management, succession planning, performance management, learning and development, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, conflict resolution, change management and other aspects of HR pertaining to employee development life cycle.
- Collaborating with mangers to implement effective workforce plans, support all aspects of the hiring process including coaching mangers on selection, onboarding new employees.
- Providing support and advice to managers regarding position level, salary ranges, current salary, and other related compensation policies and procedures.
- Guiding leaders in improving remedial employee performance and managing the disciplinary process.
- Ensuring employee benefit programs are understood and accessible by all employees.
What are we looking for?
- A Bachelor’s degree or Certificate in Human Resources Management
- CPHR designation
Ideally, you are a flexible, collaborative team player with:
- 5 years experience in Human Resources
- Able to demonstrate up to date knowledge of theory and good practice in HR functional areas.
- Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required.
