The Guardianship Worker strives to ensure the safety and well-being of children in care by developing and supervising a comprehensive plan of care, informs caregivers of their responsibilities, monitors the placement of children, provides guidance regarding children’s behavior. There is potential for this position to include work with children out of parental care on a temporary or “out of care” basis as well as children and youth in continuing care. Close working relationships and collaboration with other teams is critical to ensure excellent service to children, youth and their families.

About this Position:
This is a full-time temporary opportunity until July 12, 2024 that may be extended, or may become permanent. This temporary posting is not limited to the geographic area. Board and lodging and relocation expenses do not apply.

Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to two (2) days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.

An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
