Job Description
Vretta-Lyryx is looking to hire a Marketing Coordinator who has excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to support us with ongoing marketing and campaign projects. This includes creating blogs, social media posts, articles, applications, etc. This position will also require the strategic coordination for marketing events, conferences, and other targeted campaigns.
Responsibilities
Campaign Coordination
- Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns.
- Maintaining all communication, campaigns, & events on the CRM.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials, such as brochures, advertisements, and promotional items.
- Maintain campaign schedules, track progress, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Working with our sales team to create marketing campaigns on Mailchimp.
Content Creation and Management:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content for various marketing channels, including websites, social media, blogs, and newsletters.
- Proofread and edit marketing materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Maintain and update content repositories, including marketing collateral, images, and videos.
- Coordinating with our web design team to make updates to our product and commercial websites.
Digital Marketing Support:
- Assist in the execution of digital marketing initiatives, such as social media campaigns, email marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO).
- Monitor and analyze website traffic and user engagement metrics using web analytics tools.
- Support the management of social media accounts, including content scheduling, community engagement, and performance tracking.
- Creating regular blog posts and social media posts.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, competitor activities, and industry insights.
- Analyze marketing data, including customer demographics, campaign performance, and ROI, to provide actionable recommendations for future campaigns.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging marketing technologies to suggest innovative strategies.
- Maintaining all research documents.
Event and Trade Show Coordination:
- Assist in planning and coordinating marketing events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Manage logistics, including booth setup, collateral preparation, and coordination with vendors.
- Track event budgets, evaluate event success, and provide post-event reports.
- Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, organizing documents, and managing calendars.
- Assist with budget tracking, invoice processing, and purchase order management.
- Maintain marketing databases, contact lists, and project documentation.
- Organizing conferences and events.
Internal Communication & Admin:
- Creating and maintaining marketing/communications strategy.
- Creating and maintaining marketing/communications budgets and actuals.
- Applying for awards.
- Maintaining marketing budgets and ROI calculations
- Maintain the conversion ratio for all conferences / campaigns and other marketing initiatives.
Requirements
- A thorough understanding of all products and their features.
- A thorough understanding of the market (courses, departments, course codes, course outlines, pathways, academic institutions, etc.).
- A fair understanding of the content of all products.
- A good understanding of the new products and features in development.
- Exceptional writing, research, and communication skills.
- Creative writing
- Detail-oriented
- Tech savvy
- Previous experience in marketing or related roles is preferred.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, content management systems, and social media management tools.
- Familiarity with marketing analytics tools and ability to interpret data.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand consistency.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
Nice to Have
- A strong interest in Education Technology.
- Extensively use social media tools.
- Experience with online newsletters, creating sales and marketing campaigns on Mailchimp.
