The Front of House Assistants are responsible for customer service, greeting and assisting touring artists, as well as patrons, during events. The role of Front of House Assistant will supervise, train and direct volunteers and event staff concerning visitor interaction and safety. As well, will provide on-site coordination of merchandising and non-technical requirements for visitors and events. These positions work casually during events such as concerts and entertainment events as required and are primarily evenings and weekends with some day shifts.

- Has excellent customer service skills and communicates effectively with the public and other staff.
- Is detail oriented to ensure front of house operations run smoothly.
- Is flexible and able to adapt to rapidly changing event situations while making sound decisions.
- Working knowledge of life-saving, crowd management and accessibility compliance.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of Grade 12 or High School equivalency diploma.
- Two (2) years' experience providing customer service, including six (6) months supervisory experience.
- Standard First Aid Level "C" CPR Certificate.
- Alberta Pro-Serve program certified.
- Experience with community events is an asset.
