We are looking for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist that can specialize in pediatric therapy care within the South Simcoe County Community. This position is a Full Time Salaried role with our School-based Rehabilitation Program and our complex core clients in schools and homes.

We have an upcoming need for an up to 18-month contract for a Full Time Pediatric Occupational Therapist who can work in Barrie, Angus, and Innisfil.
What you will be doing:
- Support a Tiered Model school-based rehabilitation program. You will assess and build client and family centered therapy care plans based on the students’ developmental needs (e.g., fine motor difficulties and sensory processing goals) and collaborate closely with the school team
- Provide care to complex pediatric clients (neurological and musculoskeletal conditions) within clients homes and schools. You will build therapy care plans and recommend equipment based on the clients developmental, safety, and functional needs.
- As a pediatric client advocate, you will facilitate a partnership between families, schools, and the local healthcare systems to ensure that your clients are able to attend school, participate in school and community activities and engage successfully with the curriculum.

Skills needed for success:
- Current active registration and is in good standing as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Previous experience Pediatric experience is preferred
- ADP Authorizer or willingness to be trained is preferred
- Must have a Valid Driver’s License and the use of a reliable vehicle
