Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced a casual/part-time Occupational Therapist for the Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo and surrounding area.
Responsibilities:
- Completion of OT assessments (attendant care, home safety, home modifications, etc.) and treatment for clients who have sustained traumatic injuries
- Assess and treat clients virtually and in the community
- Maintaining customer relationships with all stakeholders and medical treatment team
Qualifications:
- University degree in Occupational Therapy
- In good standing and registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and/or Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists
- Expertise in the areas of musculoskeletal disorders, mental health and mild traumatic brain injuries an asset
- Liability insurance
- Effective communication, planning, problem-solving, time management, documentation and report writing skills
- Self-motivated, with ability to manage a varied case load
