Under the direction of the Senior Manager of OHR, the Administrative Operations (Admin-Ops) Practice Lead oversees the delivery of high-quality services in support of OHR’s health care team and Workplace Health Service’s programs. The Practice Lead contributes a leadership perspective to the delivery of administrative services within a clinical environment. The Practice Lead supervises a team of Medical Case Analysts, with a focus on early intervention, evidence-based decision making, teamwork and cooperation, and customer service. The Admin-Ops team works directly with injury recovery specialists, occupational health nurses, occupational health physicians, systems integrity manager, ministry clients, external providers, and the public.
Job Requirements:
- Post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree in a related field (such as human resources, public administration, business administration). May consider an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Experience leading, supervising, employees/teams in multiple locations, conducting virtual meetings, and leading teams through change.
- Experience analyzing data and developing reports to inform business decisions of others.
- Experience working with electronic case management database systems, clinical/medical setting preferred.
- Experience resolving complex customer, client, and staff issues.
Preference may be given to those applicants with:
- Experience working in a clinical/medical office environment.
- Experience in processing accounts payable and with accounting systems.
- Familiarity with the principles and practices of occupational health and/or disability case management.
- Recent (within the past 5 years) supervisory or leadership experience.

This position is excluded from union membership.
This position can be based out of any of the locations listed above.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home a few days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
