Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Director of Entertainment, the House Operations Manager is responsible for the operation of the Grey Eagle Event Centre House areas (lobby, auditorium and other public areas). This position encompasses coordination of assigned activities including performances, ceremonies, tradeshows, conferences and productions. Serving the needs of internal and external functions.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience Managing Events or Theatre’s or an Event Centre
- Knowledge of the Live Entertainment Industry is considered a strong asset
- University degree required
- Strong customer service experience is a requirement
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy including efficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Property Management System (Opera), Inventory Control (Flex) and Ticketmaster
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work and lead in a team environment as well as independently
- Able to work a variety of shifts including evening and weekends.
