STATUS: FULL-TIME
The Manager, Total Rewards and HR Systems will provide leadership for all aspects of total compensation including pay, benefits and employee recognition strategies in compliance with regulatory, legal and collective agreement frameworks. The Manager will ensure integrity, competitiveness and strategic alignment of the Total Rewards program to support high performance and enhance the employee experience. This position will also oversee HR systems including optimization and effectiveness; reporting and analytics; data quality; expansion and integration.
Qualifications / Skills / Abilities:
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education
- Advanced HR experience with a focus on compensation, benefits, relevant legislation including Pay Equity Act, Pension Benefits Act and Employment Standards Act
- Certified Compensation Professional, Certified Employee Benefits Specialist, CHRP designation is considered an asset
- Previous leadership experience with a unionized public sector employer
- Excellent computer skill with proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Proven experience in HR processes, technology, reporting and benchmarking
- Experience leading or supporting all phases of technology projects and systems integration
- A valid Ontario driver’s license and a reliable insured vehicle
- Willing to travel throughout Grey Bruce
- Available for regular assignment of Hospital Administrator On-Call responsibilities (assigned on a rotating basis to cover evenings and weekends)
- Recent satisfactory performance and attendance records

- Advocates and supports a culture of patient safety and demonstrates an understanding of how the department service and assigned responsibilities contribute to overall patient safety at GBHS through patient safety knowledge, skills and attitudes
