Job Description Posting 23-32Dynamics 365/Power Platform Programmer AnalystInformation Technology Unit, Corporate Services DepartmentPermanent Position, Category 6Hiring Range - $80,685 - $92,902Salary Range - $80,685 - $111,229The primary responsibility of a Dynamics 365 and Power Platform programmer will be the delivery of project-based assignments, analysis, design/architecture, support, and deployment of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions. Additionally, this person may be required to do tasks based on Dynamics 365 and Power Platform related to writing, authoring code, testing, and troubleshooting custom application issues and issues resolution.ResponsibilitiesWork with Solution Architect, Project Leader, and Business Analyst in delivering services and solutions for stakeholders using Microsoft’s Power Apps, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Automate, custom development, and data integrations.Collaborate with other programmers, designers, and members of the project team in full-lifecycle development efforts which are based on Microsoft Dynamics CRM, XRM framework and C#.NET.Identify and implement areas and processes where Power Platform and Microsoft Dynamics 365 can be better leveraged to facilitate process improvement.Create and maintain custom dashboards, models, Power App components, and integration with third-party services and external APIs.Provide hands-on technical expertise to perform needs assessments and design and implement Power Platform-based solutions satisfying customer requirements by applying problem-solving and decision-making skills.Perform unit tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.Conduct code reviews to ensure that customization code quality is at the highest level possible and appropriate design patterns are being followed.Keep abreast of new technologies and be aware of industry standards, best practices, and trends.Craft Power Apps and Power Platform solutions with the ability to impart your knowledge to both pro-developers and citizen developers.Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Information Technology.Knowledge and SkillsMust have at least five years of Dynamics 365 CRM or Microsoft Power Platform development experience.Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Platform technical solutions.Work experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments.Experience working with front end technologies like HTML, CSS, and Java ScriptCore Skills: C#, SQL, .Net, Power Apps, SharePoint, Microsoft Data Verse (CDS), Power Automate including experience with the CRM API, REST/ODATA and SOAP endpoints.Excellent understanding of coding methods and documentation best practices.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on cross-functional teams.Highly skilled in interpersonal and verbal/written communications, presentations, and analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical users.Education and ExperienceUniversity Degree or International Equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field.Microsoft Dynamics Fundamentals (CRM) CertificationMicrosoft Power Platform Fundamentals Certification5 Years of related work experience.The Ontario College of Teachers offers competitive salaries, pension, comprehensive benefits and a modern, progressive work environment.The College supports a flexible work environment, if your role permits, to afford everyone the best of both worlds – a mix of remote and in-office workdays.
