Mechanical Project Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage all activities of a construction project from start to finish, including shop drawing reviews, RFIs, change orders etc.
- Track project costs, resourcing and schedule to ensure the project is on time and on budget.
- Prepare estimates for scope changes as required.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all project stakeholders.
- Ensure all construction work meets applicable codes and standards.
- Coordinate mechanical drawings and specifications with other disciplines and trades.
- Prepare project documentation including meeting minutes, request for information memos.
- Attend construction meetings, client design meetings, commissioning meetings and site trade meetings as required.
- Manage work force and sub-trades to ensure relevant information is passed on to the project site.
- Position would be full time, 100% office based.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of project management experience within the ICI Mechanical construction industry
- A university degree or diploma in Construction Management, Construction Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering (or relevant field of study)
- LEED Certification, PMP designation or other industry recognized credentials are considered assets.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, and trades.
- Strong organizational skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrate exceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Knowledge of Jonas Construction Management System or Trimble Accubid is considered an asset.
- Team player
- Design/build project experience is considered an asset.
- G Drivers License & clean driving record

Salary: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
