Reporting to the Executive Director of Delivery Services, the Team Lead Project Manager is responsible for the successful deployment of the HealthHub Patient Engagement solutions at client hospitals across Canada. The PM leads projects with aggressive timelines and high business impact and is responsible for analytics, work cross-functionally and lead project management. In addition, this role will be responsible for managing a team of Project Managers.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of assigned projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes effectively, proactively identifying and addressing potential obstacles.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to a team of project managers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring their success.
- Set clear goals and expectations for team members, monitoring their progress and providing regular feedback.
- Promote a collaborative and positive team culture, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Resource Allocation and Planning:
- Allocate project managers to initiatives based on their skills, availability, and project requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Monitor resource utilization and make adjustments as needed to optimize project performance.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including senior management, highlighting progress, risks, and recommended actions.
- Facilitate productive collaboration between project managers and cross-functional teams.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project management efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging project management methodologies, applying relevant knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of proven project management experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Minimum 1+ years of experience managing a team of projects managers.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.\
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Committed to expanding technical and business expertise.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Analytic, creative, and business focused problem solving.
- Some travel required.
