Position Summary: The Lifespan Cognition Lab at KPU, located in Metro Vancouver, is looking to hire a Project Manager. In this role, the manager works with and reports to Dr. Daniel Bernstein. Manage the Lifespan Cognition Online Study (LCOS) project. This includes scheduling, data management, participant payment, research assistant training, and work with tha lab’s management team. Estimated weekly hours are 15 – 25 per week with the ability to work remotely for most of the hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meetings – General Lab Meetings: Cover when needed for the Lab Manager
- Attend weekly administrative meetings regarding the LCOS
- Help create/update protocols where needed
- Complete all tasks delegated by Dr. Bernstein and Dr. Kyle Matsuba
- Assist lab members and other Admins where needed
- Maintain office hours in the lab (to be determined, with Danny and PHO)
- Manage Lifespan Lab email
- Management of the LCOS project:
- Oversee /Coordinate scheduling
- Oversee /Coordinate data management.
- Oversee/Coordinate with recruitment/community partnership teams
- Oversee/Coordinate with the social media team
- Participant payments (compensate and track all participant payments)
- complete REB/amendments
- Ensure all finalize materials are backed up to OneDrive
- Train RAs to test for LCOS and lifespan testing in person
- Ensure all links are accurate and functioning properly
- Work with the data management team to coordinate changes
- Lab Passwords (take over in the summer)
- Track and give out passwords to lab member who require them
Job Requirements
This job requires good interpersonal, time management, and leadership skills. Working knowledge of research-related programs such as Romeo, SONA, SPSS, and Microsoft Office are also requirements of the position. Proof of TCPS-2 Core must be provided before starting the position. Team management experience is required.
Starting wage:
$16 - $19 per hour
