Role: Junior Project Administrator (Archivist)

Responsibilities could include but are not limited to:
· Communicating with management and project teams on administrative matters related to project delivery;
· Performing such tasks as maintaining project documentation and records for heritage and valued assets and shipping documentation;
· Maintaining and updating heritage and valued assets documentation related inventories catalogue information in Mimsy XG collections Management database or equivalent;
· Assisting in the periodic review of files to ensure corrected classification, completion and verification of documents for accuracy;
· Handling valued assets for shipping, photographic documentation, and condition reporting;
· Acting as the first point of contact by accepting incoming communications and attempting to resolve simple problems and following established procedures for more difficult problems; and
· Tracking project change requests.
Skills/Experience Required:
· MUST HOLD A secret security clearance (please indicate on resume)
· A minimum of 4 years’ experience in:
o Planning and developing logistical support elements required for the oversight of domestic and international warehouse operations;
o Managing incoming assets, validating procurement and receipt details and coordinating outgoing assets (shipments);
o Managing and processing goods receipts and goods issues with SAP
o Managing inventory of small commodity items cycle counts, audits and full physical counts of large furniture warehouse inventories; and
o Managing and creating documents for inventory tracking sheets, updating existing inventory tracking sheets
· A minimum of 3 years’ experience with the following software applications:
o MRP (Remedy/FACTS and ERP (SAP)
o OS, internet browsers
o Integrated Management System (IMS)
· A minimum of 4 years’ experience working in Museums or Galleries in collections management, or inventory registration roles
Job Type: Fixed term contract
