Lebro Management, ESR Clinics is looking for a part-time / full time Receptionist to join our extremely fast paced and growing team. This individual will be responsible for working with our patients, referring physicians and staff providing excellent customer service in a professional and courteous manner. This is an ideal role for a strong team player who is a multi-tasker, detailed oriented, enjoys working with people and has a commitment to deliver results on required deadlines. Responsibilities:
-Greeting and receiving patients that come into our office in a polite manner.
- Answering the telephone calls in a timely, professional and courteous fashion.
-Scheduling appointments for patients in accordance with established procedures.
-Liaising with patients, general practitioners, health care professionals, and patient’s family members in a compassionate and kind manner, monitoring the patient’s flow into the exam rooms.
-Receiving and conveying messages in writing, electronically and verbally.
-Receiving requests for booking patient exams from the general practitioners and maintaining confidentiality.
-Checking in patients for scheduled exams, billing them and working in tandem with the Technologists and Operations Manager as directed.
-Monitoring the clinical and stationery supply levels, and placing orders as needed.
-Scanning, filing, and faxing the documents and preparing them for mail-out.
-Contributing equitably in the maintenance of cleanliness of the offices.
-Ensuring the waiting and reception areas are kept neat and clean.
-Other administrative and facility duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Medical Office Administration from an accredited institution.
-Minimum of 5 years experience in medical practice environment as a receptionist is an advantage.
Skills and Specifications
-Ability to communicate well in a caring and supportive manner with individuals of all backgrounds.
-Excellent telephone etiquette and computer skills.
-Ability to multi-task, work efficiently, pay attention to detail and minimize on errors.
-Should have computer knowledge.
-Knowledge of medical terminology.
-Time Management.
Hours of work:
Monday - Friday (some Saturdays) - 30-37.5 hours.
