Job Description
Research assistant for a medical/psychiatric office in the community in South London. The applicant must have a strong background in the biomedical sciences, including pharmacology. Major duties include carrying out of literature searches using bibliographic databases such as Pubmed, assistance with the preparation of research manuscripts and coding of research data for statistical analysis. Qualified applicants will have the opportunity to get involved in research projects and be co-authors on research papers. The applicant must be willing to work independently with attention to detail and accuracy. Basic familiarity with medical transcription would be an asset. The job involves some clerical duties [eg. answering the office phone, making appointments, assistance with virtual medical care] associated with the running of a medical office.

Part-time hours: 15-20 per week
