Chicken Little Cafe is seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our vibrant cafe. As a Café Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer experiences, maintaining high standards of food quality and service, managing a team of dedicated staff, and driving business growth. Day in the Life of a Supervisor
· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cafe, including managing staff, scheduling, and ensuring smooth service flow.
· Maintain and enforce high standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness.
· Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships to ensure adequate stock levels at all times.
· Develop and implement effective operational procedures to optimize efficiency and maximize productivity.
· Train, mentor, and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service and uphold the cafe's brand standards.
· Coordinate and execute marketing and promotional activities to drive customer traffic and increase sales.
· Monitor and analyze sales performance, financial metrics, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food handling procedures, and licensing requirements.
· Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and professional development.
· Cultivate relationships with customers, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
· Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to make informed business decisions.
· Manage budgetary responsibilities, including cost control, revenue optimization, and profitability analysis.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role within the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service standards, and sanitation regulations.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Outstanding customer service skills, with a focus on delivering memorable dining experiences.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and make effective decisions under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, staff, and suppliers.
- Food safety certification and knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in using restaurant management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
