Great Canadian Heli-skiing is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to help us create meaningful life inspiring experiences for its companies Heather Mountain Lodge and Great Canadian Heli-Skiing.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Great Canadian Heli-skiing - Winter
- Support and manage all sales specific tactics and strategies for a successful winter season.
- Work with the accounting team to ensure payments are received, statements are correct and accounts are posted accurately.
- In depth management of complex booking scenarios - ie. cancellations, schedule planning and growth strategies, working with agents, booking grid optimization, and guest education and fulfillment.
- Follow up with leads and nurture ongoing relationships with guests. Manage group and private bookings as required.
- Make reservations, help guests with trip planning, share local knowledge and introduce Heather Mountain Lodge as well as recommendations for pre/post trips.
- Coordinating with operations to communicate the details of accommodations, personal preferences and overall requirements.
- Coordination with suppliers, contractors and other team members.
- Asset coordination; collecting and organizing BDE experience images, third party video/photo shoots; and managing brand awareness with support from lodge team members. Guide photo collection and distribution with dispatch.
- Support and coordination of creative content of social media and web-site blogs, collection and organization of marketing materials (photos, videos, logos etc) in shared drive including keeping a record of all promotions, campaigns, photo assets, and downloadable packages for future reference.
- Update website with relevant and up to date info while staying on brand with changes to copy and photos.
Heather Mountain Lodge - Summer
- Support marketing and sales team with development of summer sales structure and tactics including OTA partnership, direct to consumer sales, web-site updates, social media and marketing campaigns.
- Managing all leads, opportunities and contracting for groups, agencies, wholesalers, special interest groups and weddings. Educating all potential clients about food and beverage services including Kindle restaurant, accommodation profile and on-site services.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure maximum ADR, RevPar and Occupancy targets for the summer season.
- Collection and organization of marketing materials in shared drive including keeping a record of all promotions, campaigns, photo assets, and downloadable packages for future reference.
- Create and update summer programming opportunities with new photos and pricing.
- Assist with supplier partnerships, support DMOs and media visits to the lodge.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- University Degree or College Diploma in hotel management, tourism, business, or marketing preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience with sales, marketing and client management in the ski/ride, bike/hike, resort, hospitality, hotels or tourism industry.
- Experience with activity and/or hotel reservations; partnership development and client management working with a CRM.
- Incredible customer service ethic. Experience with luxury brands is considered a strong asset.
- Attention to detail, self starter, proactive approach to projects and problem solving.
- Experience in traditional and digital media such as Social Media as well SEO, PPC, CTR required.
- Knowledge of content writing, photography and graphic design principles, and direct-response marketing fundamentals are an asset.
- Proficiency with CRM, PMS/Res systems, SalesForce, Slack, WordPress, Google, Facebook, Monday.com and advanced computer functionality are an asset.
- Experience with Amadeus/iHotelier platforms is considered an asset.
OTHER POSITION REQUIREMENTS & COMPENSATION
- This position requires:
- Excellent communication.
- Familiarity with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) is an asset.
- Flexibility with days and hours of work, based on business needs.
- Travel to Heather Mountain Lodge (and occasionally interprovincially or nationally) throughout the year.
- Possessing an intimate knowledge of the luxury tourism industry.
- Having a passion for mountain activities, specifically skiing and hiking.
- Competitive salary will be provided based on experience.
