To support this, the company has a diversified portfolio of ground mount and carport products for the commercial and utility scale markets. This, coupled with our unique suite of engineering collaboration tools, technical services and installation support allow us to deliver turnkey solutions that are modular, lighter, and quicker to install. We support our North American and Caribbean clients from our locations in Toronto, Calgary, and US.
We are currently looking for a Sales Manager, Western Canada and based in Calgary.
In this role you will be responsible for:
· Take on a leadership role within the organization.
· Lead Western Canada sales for various products and services.
· Develop business and acquire market shares primarily in Alberta but also in BC, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
· Meet or exceed the revenue target for products sales and identify short-term as well as long-term business opportunities in your assigned territory.
· Responsible for generating demand and identifying business opportunities with your customer base and territory.
· Manage business cases at different levels in the client organization and stakeholders of the industry.
· Establish and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with current and future customers in a competitive environment.
· Gather intelligence and obtain a clear and comprehensive understanding of the client's business issues and challenges.
· Keep up to date on product information and industry trends.
· Provide accurate technical data and advice to customers and contact management utilizing our CRM tool.
· Provide sales reports to management, as needed, on sales activities, funnel and sold projects.
· Assist in developing marketing material for all sales
· Share best practices with other members on the sales team
· Participate in regional industry conferences
· Develop and grow relationships with the internal sales, business development and engineering teams and actively collaborate and share customer intelligence and opportunities
· Participate in sales and business development gatherings and sales initiatives
Skills and Qualifications:
- Mechanical or electrical Technology Diploma or appropriate industry experience.
- Personable, positive, and persuasive attitude.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Solid time management and organizational skills
- Some knowledge of competitive products and sales channels
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Ability to learn and develop sales strategies that clearly define goals, strategies/tactics, and metrics for measuring success.
- Willing to travel occasionally.
