About the role
Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Regular full-time Scheduler/Timekeeper to join our dynamic Donor Relations & Collections ATL team.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and creating rotational work schedules, timekeeping functions and administrative support to all program activities and will provide this support in accordance with all regulations, standards and good manufacturing practices.
Key Responsibilities include:
Assess and plan staffing requirements in consultation with Manager/Supervisors to meet operational needs- Prepare/create/revise work schedules according to Collective Agreement requirements
- Perform Timekeeping/ Payroll functions for departments
- Arranges accommodations for staff traveling to mobile clinics
- Provides administrative support for the Supply Chain and other departments
- Maintains accurate records
- Filing
- Other related duties, as required
Required Skills:
Completion of a secondary school program in a relevant discipline from a recognized academic institution, preferably one year in Office Administration- Minimum of three years of recent experience in related position preferably in regulated environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to work effectively in an integrated multi disciplinary team environment
- Excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel, databases, spreadsheets
- Demonstrated ability to engage in creative analytic thinking
- Ability to establish priorities and organize workload
- Accuracy with attention to detail
