THE FIX one of Toronto’s coolest ice cream bars located in the Harbourfront area is looking for attendants to join our team. We are seeking individuals with unparalleled commitment to superb customer service and quality food.

Essential Duties
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner.
- Take orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of menu (including ingredients and preparations), with the ability to make suggestions, and answer questions.
- Greets guests as they arrive.
- Thank guests for their purchase.
- Prepare all ice cream orders.
- In charge of prepping items to be sold.
- Handle cash and card transactions
- Able to manage inventories and prepping schedules.
- Accurately communicate with kitchen and managers about prepping and stock
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Flexible schedule (available for weekends and nights is a must.)
- Basic food preparation skills, able to follow simple recipes.
- Dedication to arriving on time for shifts.
- Experience providing excellent customer service.
- Experience with touch bistro preferred.
- Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety control policies.
- Able to handle money accurately (including finishing cash outs properly)
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and customer services skills.
- Pays close attention to detail.
- Perform opening and closing duties as assigned by the manager. (including cleaning)
- Exhibits excellent organizational skills.
- Maintains professional but friendly demeanor.
- Is capable of remaining patient and polite when speaking to frustrated guests.
- Works well with a team.
- Communicates clearly and effectively.
- A positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with bussers, cooks and other staff.
- Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of all areas of the restaurant.
- Smart Serve certificate is a requirement
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: From $15.50 per hour
