Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Content and Social Media Intern to join our growing team. As an intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our brand's digital presence through engaging content creation and strategic social media management. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fashion industry and contribute to the growth of a fast-paced, Black-owned, small business.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative content strategies that align with the brand's values and target audience.
Assist in creating compelling and visually appealing content, including social media posts and newsletters.
Conduct market research to identify current fashion trends, popular influencers, and emerging digital platforms.
Assist in managing and curating social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook and Threads ensuring consistent brand messaging and tone.
Monitor social media platforms for customer engagement, comments, and inquiries, and respond in a timely and professional manner.
Generate innovative ideas for social media campaigns, contests, and collaborations to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Help maintain an organized content calendar, schedule posts, and coordinate with team members to ensure timely delivery.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, social media best practices, and emerging digital marketing strategies.
Create content at our photo and video shoots.
Assist in other marketing tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Experience: Social Media Marketing: 1 year (preferred)
Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate from a post secondary program in marketing, communications, fashion, or a related field.
Passion for fashion and a strong understanding of current trends and influencers in the industry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt writing style for different channels.
Proficiency in social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, Threads, etc.
Basic knowledge of content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other graphic design software.
Familiarity with social media analytics and tracking tools to measure performance and make data-driven decisions.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to take initiative and contribute fresh ideas.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and a willingness to learn.
