This position works closely with talent acquisition and various business groups to determine staffing needs as well as with communications to collaborate on recruitment strategy initiatives. The position will provide recommendations on and execute recruitment initiatives including website, social media, traditional media, job fairs and outreach. There will be a strong focus on stakeholder collaboration, data collection and program validation.Job DescriptionWhat NAV CANADA offers you:

In this role you will:- Oversees and manages the Company’s recruitment outreach programs from needs analysis, execution and validation.
- Acts as project manager to execute recruitment strategies.
- Creates and implements strategy for attracting diverse talent.
- Oversees and manages ongoing quality assurance, validation and improvement of careers website, social media, and job sites (LinkedIn, etc.),
- Identifies opportunities and provides recommendations for enhancing and improving the applicant and candidate attraction experience.
- Maintains talent acquisition marketing content.
- Creates written and visual content for job posters, virtual job fairs and external communications.
- Conducts research into job markets, candidate trends and applicant pools.
- Assesses business needs and creates and implements targeted recruitment strategies.
- Develops relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and specific competency profiles for current and future staffing needs.
- Collaborates on external branding initiatives to position NAV CANADA as a top employer.
- Support the talent acquisition team in creating networks of candidate pools.
- Organize and facilitate virtual and in person events.
What you bring:- Undergraduate degree or diploma in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human Resources, Recruitment or Communications
- Experience with corporate recruitment and social media
- Experience in managing corporate websites, job boards and outreach
- Experience in managing projects, developing and implementing recruitment plans and strategies and establishing candidate pools
- Bilingual in English and French preferred.
- Knowledge of effective use of recruitment methods including web based job sites, virtual career fairs, in person events
- Knowledge of diversity hiring principles
- Knowledge of recruitment and branding best practices and principles, planning, tactics and tools.
- Knowledge of a wide variety of media: MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams), Adobe products; various social media platforms - and how to leverage candidate attraction.
