Job Description

Are you an experienced Barista, who is incredibly passionate about specialty coffee, loves interacting with customers and works well as part of a team? Do you want to be part of an amazing, growing business? If this sounds like you, get in touch - we want to hear from you!

We are currently looking for hard-working and reliable part time baristas to join our fabulous fun team. We are specifically looking for candidates that are very flexible, able to work as part of a team or independently and have the skills and experience to prepare and serve excellent products and service to our customers.

Candidates for this position MUST be available to work opening and closing shifts on both weekdays and weekends and have open and flexible availability.

Here are some key responsibilities:

Customer Service: Greeting customers, taking orders, and handling transactions. A friendly and positive attitude is crucial to create a pleasant experience for patrons.

Food and Beverage Preparation: Preparing a variety of coffee drinks, teas, bubble teas, smoothies, and other beverages. Also, you should be able to handles basic food preparation like sandwiches, pastries, and salads.

Order Fulfillment: Ensuring that orders are accurately prepared and served in a timely manner, meeting the cafe's quality standards.

Menu Knowledge: Having a good understanding of the menu, including ingredients, allergens, and special offers, to assist customers with their choices.

Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the café area clean and organized, including tables, counters, and equipment. This includes regular cleaning tasks like dishwashing and sanitizing workspaces.

Stocking and Inventory: Monitoring and restocking supplies, such as coffee beans, milk, cups, napkins, and other café essentials.

Handling Customer Inquiries and Complaints: Addressing customer questions, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and resolving issues whenever possible.

Cash Handling: Operating the cash register, handling cash, and processing card payments accurately.

Adhering to Health and Safety Standards: Following proper hygiene and safety protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for both customers and staff.

Collaboration: Working closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient service.

Flexibility: Being willing to take on various tasks as needed, especially during busy periods.

Salary: $15.50-$16.00 per hour
