Job Description
Position Overview: As a Cultivation Team Member, you will play a vital role in the successful cultivation and care of cannabis plants. Working closely with the Cultivation Manager and other team members, you will contribute to the overall growth and development of our cannabis facility. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for cultivating high-quality cannabis products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plant Care and Maintenance:
· Execute daily tasks related to plant care, including watering, pruning, and pest management.
· Monitor and maintain optimal growing conditions, such as temperature, humidity, and light levels.
· Conduct regular inspections to identify signs of disease, pests, or nutrient deficiencies.
· Assist in the implementation of cultivation techniques, such as trellising, defoliation, and training.
· Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
2. Harvesting and Trimming:
· Participate in the harvesting and post-harvest processing of cannabis plants.
· Properly trim and manicure cannabis flowers to maintain product quality and appearance.
· Ensure accurate weighing, labeling, and packaging of harvested cannabis products.
· Adhere to strict quality control measures during the trimming and packaging processes.
· Assist in the inventory management of harvested cannabis products.
3. Facility Maintenance and Sanitation:
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of cultivation areas, including grow rooms and equipment.
· Clean and sanitize tools, equipment, and cultivation areas to prevent contamination.
· Assist in routine maintenance tasks, such as light bulb replacement and equipment calibration.
· Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
4. Data Collection and Documentation:
· Record and maintain accurate data related to cultivation activities, including plant growth and development, nutrient applications, and environmental conditions.
· Assist in the implementation of inventory tracking systems and batch tracking protocols.
· Contribute to the preparation of reports and documentation as required by regulatory agencies.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
· Work collaboratively with the cultivation team to achieve production targets and meet quality standards.
· Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding cultivation tasks and progress.
· Share observations and insights to contribute to continuous improvement of cultivation practices.
· Participate in training programs and educational sessions to enhance cultivation knowledge and skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
