We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be able to manage projects from start to finish. They will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing projects on time. They will also be responsible for communicating with clients and stakeholders and ensuring that their needs are met.
Responsibilities
- Plan, manage and track all aspects of technical projects, from inception to completion
- Communicate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Identify, mitigate risks, and design risk mitigation plans
- Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Analyze and develop procedures for management and technical duties.
- Participate in how budget and staff are allocated for the project.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and responsiveness to customers
- Managing project progress and adapt work as required in order to meet specified deadlines
- Meeting regularly with clients to provide project updates and gather clear requirements on any feature requests
- Managing change requests and prepare quotes with support from the technical team as required
- Being the primary point of contact with clients
- Creating and maintaining project documentation including SOW’s, budgets, and schedules
- Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff
- Optimizing and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering or in a relevant discipline
- 5+ years of experience in project management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong written, verbal, and collaboration skills both in English and French
- Strong organizational skills, successful track record of coordinating between multiple project stakeholders, and software development teams
- Superior communication and collaborative skills which allow you to fully engage with technical teams as well as business teams to effectively manage customer expectations and resolve conflicts that balance both client and company needs
- Ability to handle high-pressure projects and balance competing priorities. Must be comfortable asking for help when you need it
- Self-starter and results-oriented, able to work under minimal mentorship
- Analytical, computer, and problem-solving skills to be able to use software and to explain the software
- PMP certification is a plus
