Marketing & Membership Co-Ordinator
The Canadian Wood Pallet and Container Association (CWPCA) is seeking a bilingual (English/French) individual to join our team as a part-time Marketing & Membership Co-ordinator. The CWPCA is a not-for-profit industry association representing the best interests of the over $1 billion dollar wood packaging sector.
Job requirements include but are not limited to:
- Promotion/advertising of membership
- Research new avenues of member benefits
- Provide French language services to the Quebec Pallet Manufacturers Association (AMPCQ), inclusive of event planning, accounting and administrative tasks
- Follow legislative news and report changes that affect our members in all provinces
- Managing social media content
- Managing web content, including maintenance of association website online lists, updates, and creating forms
- Organize/promote webinars of relative content for members
- Research/write content for the monthly newsletter
- Basic translation of English to French and vice versa, for non-technical documents
- Assist with event planning and advertising when needed
- Plan and implement a gradual transition of the Association communications to become 100% bilingual
Education/Experience
- Post-secondary education/training in business administration, marketing or communications related field.
- Prior experience in the non-profit Association sector
- Prior experience in research and writing website content and articles/newsletter content.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, as well as Zoom, Survey Monkey, Webinars, Mail Chimp, Basic website Content Management Systems knowledge would be an asset
- Technical skills to post, update and manage content on a website
- Bilingual in English and French is necessary (ability to write and speak fluently in both languages)
- Previous experience or knowledge of membership associations
