Details: Full time, Days, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Pay Scale: Commensurate with education and experience
Location: Central Services, 14220 – 109 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB, T5N 4B3 (travel between various GEF sites is required, mileage paid)

If so, this is a phenomenal opportunity to be involved in the analysis and evolution of our organizational learning and development program to ensure that staff and volunteers have the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to effectively support our seniors in their choices to live fulfilling lives now and in the future.
This position will play a key role in helping to assess organizational knowledge gaps, create learning and development plans, and coordinate engaging training, learning and development programs and initiatives for staff and volunteers that positively contributes to the quality of life of our seniors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with an organizational learning and development gap analysis
- Lead the identification of required knowledge, skills and abilities for each position, and contribute to organizational learning and development analysis and planning
- Develop and maintain comprehensive learning and development plans for each position within the organization, to ensure that staff have the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to excel in their roles
- Collaborate with the portfolios’ leadership teams to research, design, implement, sustain, and evaluate workplace learning and development opportunities that enhance staff knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Review and revise existing eLearning modules, training programs, and other learning content, materials, and activities to remain current with industry trends while still promoting and support our mission and strategic direction
- Develop KPI’s to effectively determine the success of new programs and initiatives
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management and/or Adult Learning and Development (Certificate/Diploma)
- Minimum 5 years of learning and development or education experience
- PC proficiency and adept at using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience using eLearning software to create engaging training materials. Experience using Articulate 360 is an asset.
- Ability to tailor communication style to specific audiences, ensuring effective information deliver and engagement
- Practice understanding of service delivery and adult learning/training modules
- Strong facilitation skills to engage participants and foster an interactive learning environment
