Ready Mix Concrete Truck Driver/Operator- Amherst, NS
Casey Concrete Ltd is looking for responsible professional drivers wanting to put their skills to work in a dynamic aspect of the construction industry. We will teach new skills, including operation and maintenance of a Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) Truck and about concrete technologies. As an RMC truck operator, you will be trained in the safe operation of equipment and in the delivery of concrete as a building material (There is more to concrete than you might think!). Concrete is often the first material going into any project, so we are on the front lines of the construction industry. Concrete plays a major role in construction; from the below ground foundations to the exterior curbs and walkways - Concrete is used in virtually all construction projects.

No concrete experience necessary, all training provided. (A few weeks to learn the basics, a lifetime to master) Home every night, start and end each day in Amherst, NS
Being a Ready-mix driver is not a physically demanding job and many divers do this job right up to retirement. Driving skills are the most important, anyone can learn the concrete part of the job with proper training.
Minimum 40 hours each week guaranteed
* All concrete training provided. NO Concrete experience necessary.
Qualifications/ Experience – that are required:
· Class 3 driver’s license with airbrake endorsement.
· Minimum 3 years Class 1 driving experience.
· Clean Driver’s Abstract.
· Positive attitude and outlook
· Ability to do moderate lifting 50-70lbs
· Off-road heavy truck driving experience
