You are responsible for servicing our customers in a professional, safe, and efficient manner. As a team member you will:
- Drive to and from customer sites based on scheduled routes from Fleet Leadership.
- Utilize hydraulic, vacuum, and winch systems (depending on the route) to load material at customer sites.
- Maintain a professional approach with customers by ensuring their site is clean before departure, maintain a positive working relationship, and promptly communicate their questions or concerns to Fleet Leadership.
- Adhere to WCRL and customer protocol regarding safety, code of conduct, and material handling.
- Adhere to Federal, Provincial, and Municipal transport regulations.
- Provide coverage of various driving routes as directed.
The ideal candidate is an individual who:
- Possesses a valid class 1 license with a clean abstract.
- Is a professional who values a strong work ethic, integrity, accountability, and understands how teamwork contributes to completion of a common goal.
- Possesses familiarity with hydraulic, vacuum, and roll-off equipment or transferable experience.
- Is willing and able to perform various labor requirements to load trucks including maneuvering equipment up to 50lbs without assistance and performing repetitive motions like bending and lifting.
- Can adapt to various working conditions like cold weather, odours, and varying shift schedules (week to week).
