Job Description
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will provide support and assistance to all aspects of the recruitment cycle including, phone assessments, screening, interviewing, data entry, file maintenance, and participation in selecting top candidates for our clients.
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform customer service functions such as answering phone calls, responding to messages, filing papers, faxing documents and other clerical functions
- Foster a positive candidate experience through the recruitment cycle
- Conduct phone screenings, resume reviews, interviews and reference checks on potential candidates
- Track the status of candidates and respond with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process
- Schedule meetings and interviews as requested by the Director of HR
- Assist with full cycle recruitment and interview process
- Post opportunities on social media websites
- Participate in organising and running job fairs
- Recommend new policies and procedures to company improvements and organisational efficiencies
- Prepare new employee files
- Assist with updating training material
- Greet guests and clients professionally
- Perform other duties as assigned
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Education, Experience, and Qualifications
- 1+ year(s) experience in sourcing talent and recruitment role
- Degree, diploma or certification in Human Resources
- Able to comfortably and pleasantly deal with a variety of people
- Proficiency with Google suite of applications (gmail, google docs, google sheets etc.)
- Strong morals and ethics, along with a commitment to staff privacy.
- Knowledge of principles, theories, and techniques related to job classification, job analysis, and job descriptions.
- Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organisation
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
- Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines
- Attention to detail in all areas of work
- Ability to use general office equipment
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $42,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
