Inside Sales & Inventory Control

Located in beautiful Muskoka, Ontario, our brewery has become a destination for locals, seasonal residents and tourists alike, and is currently rated Trip Advisor’s 2ndbest thing to do in South Muskoka, the 1stbeing the lake itself. We boast the largest retail beer fridge of any craft brewery in Ontario, featuring up to 20 different brands at any one time. Our 72-seat taproom, the “Saloon”, with its 18 draught taps, and features live entertainment and special events on most evenings throughout the year. Not to mention our brand new 200 seat capacity event space the “Service Bay”.
The Inside Sales & Inventory Control is responsible for working with the Sales Team to perform the execution of the company’s sales plan under the direction of the Sales Manager. You will also be responsible for all movement of beer both in house and through our 3PL distributor. No matter what you’re doing, your goal is to make people love us and buy our beer.
General Duties:
- Understanding customer needs and requirements
- Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
- Work alongside our 3PL partner for the distribution of orders
- Maintain and count inventory of beer-packaged and beer-kegged
- Amalgamate all inventory numbers on End of Month Inventory Google Sheet and Inventory Receipt on EKOS
- Manage EKOS Inventory (create adjustments, question and investigate discrepancies, report all irregularities to manager)
- Fill and ship orders ensuring accuracy of shipments
- Responsible for ensuring stock transfers between fridges and maintaining par levels
- Work alongside production to help determine the timing of beer releases
- Other duties as assigned - everyone says this, but we really mean it
Qualifications
- 1-2 years previous experience in licensee and retail beer or alcohol sales
- Craft beer industry experience preferred, willingness to learn encouraged
- Exceptional knowledge of the company and its rapidly evolving product line
- Superior communication and customer service skills
- Excellent client relationship building skills
- Very organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Highly analytical
- Must be able to work well with multiple technologies and to adapt to a constantly changing industry environment.
- Must be able to work independently within the assigned department framework and guidelines. You won’t have someone looking over your shoulder all the time – as long as you’re doing the job.
- Smart Serve certification required
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work regularly on nights and weekends as needed – odd hours are part of the deal but that makes it more fun.
- This position is based in Gravenhurst, ON at the Sawdust City Brewing Co. headquarters.

Salary: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
