Position Summary
PuroClean Restoration Oakville/Mississauga is looking for a hardworking, and motivated Restoration and Reconstruction Project Manager to join our team. Our office is based in Oakville, ON but we service Oakville and Mississauga and some surrounding areas.
PuroClean Restoration Oakville/Mississauga is looking for a Restoration Project Manager to be an integral part of our team. Our team is responsible for remediation services of property damage caused by water, smoke, bio-hazard and mould remediation. Experience in the Restoration Industry and General Carpentry is a definite asset but not a requirement.
Job Summary:
The project manager is able to work independently and/or as the leader of a multi person team and is responsible for the successful completion of various restoration projects that are caused by fire, smoke, wind, water, bio-hazard, asbestos and mould. The project manager works in conjunction with the property owner, adjuster/insurance company or property management company. Project managers ensure that the projects are completed in a timely manner, on budget and to the highest quality standards, bringing the properties to their pre-disaster condition. Project manager is able to do alternating scheduled on-call evenings and weekends.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform daily site inspections from the Emergency Phase to completion of the repair
- Communicate with home & business owners, insurance adjusters and sub-contractors
- Manage sub-contractors and employees in successfully completing projects in a timely and
efficient manner
- Meet or exceed profit goals on each job
- Ensure the preparation of accurate quotations through job costing and estimates
- Be available to respond to 24 hour emergency restoration and mitigation calls and alternating scheduled on-call evenings and weekends
- Create & execute project plans with appropriate software and revise as appropriate to meet
changing needs and requirements
- Understanding, demonstrating and promoting the vision, mission and values of the company
- Delivering empathetic interaction and professional service resulting in an excellent customer
experience in disaster response activities
- Ensure project documents are complete, current and uploaded in Xactanalysis
- Build existing client relationships and generate new leads with adjusters and property managers
- Maintaining a professional appearance, attitude and conduct at all times
- Always achieves customer satisfaction beyond a customer’s expectation of service
- Manage project budget/estimates
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and monitor receivables for each project
- Follow up with clients, regarding unpaid invoices
- Analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization
- Cleaning and maintaining company facility, vehicle and equipment. Keeping all restoration
resources in constant state of readiness
- Improving technical knowledge, skills and personal performance capabilities through courses as
directed
- Consistent taking and recording of all psychometric readings on all job sites as per PuroClean
Standards of Procedures
- Completion of all documentation requirements as per PuroClean Standards of Procedures
- Always leave the customer’s property/home as clean or cleaner than when you arrived
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience in the restoration or construction industry in Project Management or Supervisory position
- Experience using MS Outlook, Word & Excel
- Experience with Xactimate required
- IICRC certifications WTR and ASD
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Strong customer service skills
- Highly organized with attention to details
- Decision making skills
- Effective multi-tasking skills
Physical Requirements:
- Reasonable level of physical fitness with no health issues that would interfere with the physical demands and/or conditions of the work environments customary for this type of work
- Able to work for extended periods of time in personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Updated immunization: Hepatitis A&B and Tetanus
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Able to lift 50 pounds or more
