Madrone Environmental Services is a growing mid-size environmental consulting practice based in British Columbia. Our head office is located on Vancouver Island in the Cowichan Valley. Role of Accounting Technician:
The Technician supports delivery of all organizational financial functions. This includes accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, project accounting support, etc. They will also work closely with the Manager to develop, document, and implement internal control policies and procedures.

Your role will entail:
- Accounts Payable and Receivable.
- Completing full cycle accounting activities.
- Providing support on financial queries from staff to clients.
- Providing recommendations on improving systems.
- Documenting and implementing processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Formal bookkeeping certifications.
- Attention to detail, above average analytical and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, pro-active and self-directed.
- Client minded with a customer service background.
- QuickBooks-Desktop and QuickBooks-Online experience an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
