Job Description

UpAuto Group is a premier group of automotive dealerships in the Stratford and St Marys area that prides itself on its relentless pursuit of excellence in team and community relations.

We are currently looking for someone who shares these values to join the team in the role of Senior Accounting Clerk.

The Accounts Payable / Receivable will process accounts under the supervision of our Regional Group Controller. This individual will complete these tasks in a timely fashion with a high degree of reliability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Financial functions including cash, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  

• Administrative support and financial insight for department managers for personnel management, budgeting and process management
  

• Coordinating and preparing monthly financial statements, detailed departmental budgets, and yearend audit statements
  

• Vehicle inventory management.
  

• Manage journal entries, and invoices and reconcile accounts for the monthly or annual closing
  

• Posting of vehicle sales
  

• Other accounting duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills

• Payable and Receivable – Experience minimum 2 years
  

• General Accounting Experience – minimum 2 years
  

• Dealership Experience – minimum 1 year
  

• Knowledge of a DMS (PBS, CDK, Quorum etc.)

Education

• College degree, preferably in accounting
