The National Learning & Development Manager is a motivational and inspirational, down to earth, and creative individual who's intention is to expand on the talents, skills, and spirits across all team members at all levels within the Altea organization.
With leadership, management, business progression, personal progression, and best practices in mind, you design e-learning courses, workshops and maintain budgets. You pride yourself in assisting with the organization's success by coaching and developing one of its most considerable assets, its people.

You work alongside human resources and the departmental managers to create training and develop their respective teams.

As a Learning & Development Manager a typical day might include the following:
- Create training programs that are aligned with the organization's objectives and having a strong understanding of what these are
- Design Altea curriculums for all team members
- Design and deliver standard operating procedures, e-learning courses, workshops, and other training
- Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g., coaching, job-shadowing, online training)
- Embrace different styles of training techniques, including e-learning, tutorial sessions, or coaching
- Conduct training modules for all staff, explicitly focusing on sales systems, member engagement and customer service
- Review training materials from a variety of vendors and select materials with appropriate content
- Create a training budget and keep operations within budget
To land this role you need to have;
- College diploma, University degree in Business, Psychology or equivalent experience strongly preferred
- Proven experience as a Learning & Development Manager, Training Manager, or similar
- Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
- Experience in project management and budgeting
- Confident in both written and spoken communication with the ability to present to large audiences
- Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen
- CPR/First Aid certification is required before the start date and must be maintained through employment.
- All team members must provide a recent Criminal Background Check before the commencement of training and work.
