Job Description
As a Catia Programmer, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing Catia software programs to support our engineering projects. Your primary focus will be on developing efficient programs that enhance our product design and manufacturing processes. You will collaborate closely with the engineering team to understand project requirements and translate them into precise software solutions. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Catia software programs to support product design and manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to understand project requirements and develop programming solutions accordingly.
- Design, create, and modify Catia models, scripts, and macros to automate tasks and improve workflow efficiency.
- Analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement, proposing and implementing software solutions to enhance productivity.
- Perform testing and debugging of Catia programs to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Stay updated on the latest Catia programming techniques, tools, and industry best practices.
- Document programming processes, procedures, and workflows for future reference.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Catia Programmer or similar role, with a strong understanding of Catia V5/V6.
- Proficiency in CATScript, VBA, VB.NET, or similar programming languages used in Catia customization and automation.
- Solid knowledge of Catia software modules, including Part Design, Assembly Design, Generative Shape Design, and DMU Kinematics.
- Experience with CATIA APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) and automation frameworks is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop creative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, while also being a collaborative team player.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Contract Details:- This position is a 6 months contract role with the potential for extension based on project requirements and performance.
