Communications Coordinator
Location: This is an in-office position situated in London, Ontario
Full-time Permanent Role (37.5hrs/week: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm)
Salaried position: Rate based on experience.
Relying on your expertise in technical writing, the Communication Coordinator at ProResp plays an essential role maintaining company policies and documents in accordance with standards and regulations.. You will also create content to effectively communicate the Company's value to internal and external partners. Reporting to the Director of Quality and Communications, you will interact directly with ProResp leadership teams and branch operations to co-ordinate effective communication strategies in the promotion of ProResp. You will be responsible for contract management of existing service proposals as well as participating in business development opportunities promoting evidence-based content and value propositions for RFP processes.

Your Responsibilities:
- Maintaining version control of company policies, procedures, and documents by coordinating the development, review, revision, and approval processes with subject matter experts and management.
- Maintain, develop, and review company service provider proposals and agreements; monitor and provide notification of expiry dates and initiate renewal proposals and agreements; maintain provincial senior living and hospice databases.
- Coordinate successful company submissions and presentations for proposal request opportunities through the collaborative development of evidence-based and impactful content.
- Contribute to the company’s digital media strategy and monitor its effectiveness using analytics; collaborate with external partners to coordinate themes and leverage networks; collaborate on the development of stories across the company and manage permissions for use.
- Coordinate effective verbal and written communication with branch operations and leadership on activities of importance in local communities; collaborate with leadership and our Marketing Department to develop succinct communication materials for tradeshow exhibits and events.
- Reviewing and updating company profiles; monitor digital media outlets for public reviews of the company, report findings to the leadership team and recommend mitigation strategies; prepare media releases and internal communications in collaboration with senior leadership.
Education Requirement: Post Graduate diploma in Technical Communication or Journalism
Eligibility Requirements:
- 2+ years’ post graduate work experience in Corporate Communication
- Exceptional written communication skills with proven expertise creating written content in English.
- Exceptional English communications skills with proven expertise actively collaborating with internal/external groups.
- Excellent knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search, Adobe Suite, Excel, and social media.
- Experience in health care strongly preferred.
