Unique Controllership Opportunity in Ucluelet B.C.
A group of companies is seeking a controller responsible for financial leadership and operational support. This position will report directly to management.
Duties include:
- Overseeing the full accounting cycle for multiple companies
- Implementation accounting policies and procedures
- Overseeing and supervise the accounting and administrative staff
- Monthly reporting to senior management
- Ensuring the bookkeeping and accounting records are accurate and complete
- Managing and reconciling inter-company accounts
- Responsibility for Government remittances including payroll source deductions, GST, PST, WCB, and B.C. Employee Health Tax
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Controller or similar role.
- CPA designation preferred.
- Positive professional attitude with the ability to work well with others including staff.
- High level knowledge of computerized accounting systems including Sage and Winward.
- Highly motivated and proactive.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Remuneration will be dependent upon experience with a range of $90,000-$110,000. The position will also receive extended medical and dental benefits.
