Established in 2020, Mini Mall Storage Properties has been successfully acquiring storage facilities throughout North America with rapid expansion in the United States. We have a team of talented and diverse self-storage experts who span across 15 states and 7 provinces to support and manage our rapid growth across North America. With over 37,000 units and almost 5 million square feet of self-storage space, our goal is to make storage simple and accessible throughout life’s transitions.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Responsible for full cycle recruitment in the Canadian and US markets
- Prepare a recruitment strategy for the internal stakeholders and ensuring seamless communication, sourcing both active and passive candidates, building research lists, pre-screening candidates, presenting top-candidates to hiring managers, and scheduling/participating in interviews
- Partner with hiring leaders to gain an in depth understanding of the business and hiring needs
- Employ a variety of methods including job postings, networking, direct sourcing and referrals to build and maintain a pipeline of top talent
- Ensure the Company’s employer brand, values and guiding principles are conveyed to applicants throughout the hiring process while gaining insight on the candidate’s motivations and alignment
- Proactive in searches by going beyond the application, selection and hiring process acting as the subject matter expert employing innovative and creative ways to identify and attract talent
- Owning the candidate experience, guiding them through the selection process journey in a positive and welcoming way while ensuring we meet our internal service level agreements for contact with candidates
- Research and update the team on current employment trends to assist with workforce planning. Have a pulse on the current candidate market
- Support recruitment projects as necessary
- Provide reporting and analytics to the business as required
WHAT DO YOU NEED?
- 3-5 years of experience in a full-cycle recruiting role as an advisor on recruitment and selection best practices; ideally with a mix of agency and corporate experience
- Experience managing and prioritizing multiple initiatives, projects and relationships with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment and high client expectations
- Driven and results oriented. The successful candidate must be self-directed and enjoy the hunt of recruiting for technical roles in highly competitive markets
- Experience in researching, identifying creative and innovative candidate sourcing strategies and networking for pipeline building
- Experience working with hiring teams across various departments and working on various roles;
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), we use UKG (formerly UltiPro)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to help leaders understand and be fully engaged in the recruitment process by provided timely updates throughout the hiring process as a welcomed guide and expert throughout the process
- Demonstrable ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Disciplined, detail-oriented problem solver with a desire to contribute to the organization's success
