ANIRAV Logistics Inc. is an Island owned and operated light courier delivery company based in Nanaimo, operating from Qualicum Beach to Duncan city. We (our partner Intelcom) aim on delivering accurate, same day delivery with highest level of customer service.
Are you someone who enjoys driving? Likes working on their own schedule? Wants to control how much you make? Can or willing to work 10 hours a day? If you are that person, we have a good opportunity for you. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Delivery Driver (as a subcontractor) for our company. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, and will have a minimum of one years experience in a delivery driver position. In addition to being responsible for the safety and security of the packages being delivered, our Delivery Drivers are also responsible for ensuring that deliveries are complete and locations are visited on scheduled times. Full time and Part time available.
As a sub-contractor, the candidate will be responsible for putting their own gas (our partner Intelcom's optimization software plans the route for minimum gas wastage) and are also expected to bring their own vehicles (SUV, Mini-Vans or Cargo Vans). Candidate will also get bonus pay towards their gas in some situations. Preference to those who have worked in a delivery atmosphere previously, however, training will be provided to everyone regardless.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver packages to residences and businesses safely.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Communicate well with customers and staff.
- Be accountable for accuracy of deliveries.
Qualifications:
- Valid class 5 drivers license.
- Able to lift 25lbs of weight.
- Willing to take a criminal background check.
- Clean Driving Record.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $190.00-$220.00 per day
