Job Summary:
Quality Sterling Group is seeking an energetic and experienced Cash Applications Clerk to join our finance team. Our ideal candidate possesses accurate data entry skills with an eye for detail. Is a motivated problem-solver who can work independently and collaborate effectively on larger teams. Has strong communication skills, is self-motivated and enjoys learning new things.
As part of our team, you will post payments reconciliation and create daily summaries reports for relevant stakeholders and management, observing all relevant regulations.
Process high volumes of transactions, and remittances, scanning, invoicing, and reconciling cash items from potentially disparate pieces of the company's financial interests.
This is an entry level position working 100% in office.
Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile cash for account receivables and remittances.
- Create regular reports to accurately track financial information.
- Help with periodic audits of the general ledger in regard to cash application.
- Work off daily bank report to post payments that came in via EFT, ACH, items adjustments and wires.
- Partner with AP department to complete job costing.
- Process credit card payments.
- Set up couriers for payment pick-ups.
- Engage with Accounts Receivable and Billing teams concerning payment application as necessary.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in accounts Receivable and cash applications preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to broader team objectives.
- Ability to multitask and manage time amid multiple deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Salary: $38,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
