You will be responsible to provide great customer service to our hotel guests. This means you will be involved in the welcome and greeting of our guests, check in and check out procedures. You will answer guest enquiries and provide assistance. You will take all incoming phone calls. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic, and are passionate about customer service, with strong leadership abilities. Assertive and able to work in a team environment. Good computer knowledge and a fast learner who can work well under pressure. Rapid solutions to changing situations are your strength.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Checking guests in and out and ensuring their comfort during their stay.
- The Welcome will make the difference; ensure customer satisfaction is your key driver and goal.
- Ensure audit controls are in line with company standards
- Responsible for hotel cash and banking
- Upsell hotel facilities to guests at Check In and during their stay.
- Tracking of different programs like Loyalty programs, Guest Satisfaction, and inventory of supplies.
- Compile reporting
- Communication with Team Members within the department and outside
- Able to deal and resolve payment situations at the Front Desk
CANDIDATE REQUIRMENTS:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Hotel Front Desk role
- Knowledge of Opera a must
- Weekend availability and flexible working hours
- Strong analytical abilities, detail oriented and able to multitask
- Hospitality experience is a must.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or Tourism an asset
- Advanced knowledge of Excel & Microsoft Office
- Bilingual a plus
