Hicks & Hicks Professional Corporation is a general practice law firm located close to downtown Hanover, in beautiful Grey County. Please note that we NOT located in Durham Region.
We are seeking a motivated, knowledgeable individual to join our firm as a receptionist/legal assistant.
The position will involve providing administrative support to lawyers and law clerks, including scheduling appointments and drafting correspondence; greeting clients; opening and organizing files; other administrative duties as required.
The successful candidate(s) will have:
- excellent communication skills
- solid organizational and time-management skills
- the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- proficiency in working with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- ability to work on-site
The following qualifications would be considered an asset:
- Experience in a legal office setting
- Knowledge of PC Law
We are open to a part-time work arrangement. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Please note that benefits are only available to those who have a regular work schedule of at least 20 hours per week.
