We are looking for a Talent & Culture Operations Coordinator, with one (1) year of experience in a similar role in a creative or technology environment. The coordinator is passionate about people and growing environments and will support the team in the restructuring and development of the department. The role requires you to be solutions and results driven, in addition to strong problem-solving skills. As a coordinator, you will work across many areas including, but not limited to, Operations, Talent Acquistion, Learning & Development, and Culture.
As a Talent & Culture Operations Coordinator at YHP, you will:
- Provide administrative support to the Talent & Culture department, including managing employee records, preparing documentation, etc.;
- Ensure appropriate communication and engagement across the organization when it comes to culture and values;
- Coordinate new hire activities, including conducting background checks, references, and facilitating onboarding sessions;
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date databases, employee files, and other HR-related systems;
- Respond promptly to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues effectively;
- Support the implementation of a performance evaluation process, tracking deadlines, preparing evaluation forms, and coordinating feedback sessions;
- Coordinate and support the planning of learning and professional development initiatives;
- Participate in the development of systems, including data, queries, and reports;
- Stay updated with best practices, industry trends, and relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance;
- Collaborate with team members to foster a positive and supportive work environment;
- Support for any other request, project, or initiative.
Required skills:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or equivalent;
- 1 year of experience as a Talent & Culture Operations Coordinator or similar role;
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in, both, French and English;
- Mastery of the MAC environment and the Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.),
- BambooHR experience will be considered an asset;
- Passion for the creative and technology industries;
- Autonomy, resourcefulness, and responsiveness;
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism;
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations;
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong team spirit, who likes to take initiatives;
- High level of commitment to delivering exceptional results;

- Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively;
