About the Role
The Project Coordinator works closely with the project managers / account managers to assist with the coordination of resources, equipment, meetings and information for projects within the Operations group. The Project Coordinator will perform various coordinating tasks, such as scheduling, as well as administrative duties, such as maintaining project documentation. Where appropriate, the Project Coordinator will interact with the vendor/contractor/client to ensure the clients’ stakeholders’ needs are met as the project evolves. To succeed in this role, excellent organization, time management and communication skills are required, as this position collaborates with multiple teams across AtomVie to deliver results on deadlines.

What You Will Do
- Support the Project Manager / Leader and Account Manager to ensure project deliverables and timelines are met.
- Identify risks to deliverables and timelines and communicate to the Project Manager.
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
- Coordinate tasks throughout the project – including tasks involving contractors and suppliers
- Assist in breaking projects into doable actions and set timeframes
- Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
- Maintains meeting minutes
- Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings
- Assist with project procurement management
- Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers
- Ensure all project deliverables meet high quality standards and are compliant with internal requirements and external regulations
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
- Ensures that projects are executed within budgetary constraints.
- Launching and verifying purchase orders, confirmations and invoicing
- Communicating and coordinating with vendors for estimations
- Develop project strategies with the Project Manager to ensure project goals are met
- Ensures compliance with Health and Safety for all policies, procedures and regulations applicable to their work.
- All other duties as assigned
Experience Necessary
A post-secondary degree in Science or Engineering- PMP candidacy or certification considered an asset
- 1-2 years’ experience in pharma/biotech manufacturing or testing
- Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical and engineering principles and practices
- Experienced in MS 365 suite of applications including Microsoft Project, Excel, Power Point, Word and Visio
- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
- Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
