Highlights
The Iceman is looking for two reliable and fit individuals to work in its busy downtown warehouse. This is an ideal position for a post-secondary student or someone who wants seasonal employment.
Wage: $20-22 per hour depending on experience
Shift: Thurs & Fri 7am-5pm and Sat & Sun 7am-1pm
Location: Adelaide St W, Toronto, ON M6J 1B4
Responsibilities
- Operate material handling equipment and load and unload Iceman products onto trucks
- Bag ice including dry ice and prepare product for shipment
- Keep warehouse areas organized, clean and hazard free
- When required, deliver ice products to customers across the GTA and move trucks to loading docks
- Complete daily logs
- Follow all company policies and procedures including those related to safety
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years G-license truck driving experience
- Previous warehouse experience is an asset
- Must possess and be able to maintain a valid Province of Ontario full “G” Driver’s License and have a clean driving record (i.e., no violations)
- Provide a copy of a recent and clean driving record
- Ability to lift or move objects up to 23 kg
- Effective time management and inventory taking skills
- Adhere to safety rules including wearing steel-toed shoes/boots and operating warehouse equipment properly
