Job Description
- Maintain inventory by identifying, labelling and placing materials and supplies in stock and recording location of inventory.
- Perform all functions in a safe manner for all Team Members.
- Establish and maintain effective communications with production, quality
- Cycle counts as instructed and maintenance of FIFO and Inventory Control systems.
- Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders (pick/pack operations).
- Document materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and the locations of the units.
- Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, securing and labelling product.
- Complete documents for material movements, as required.
- Follow all Health & Safety programs (OHSA)
- Maintain good housekeeping.
- Maintenance of material handling equipment through pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.
- Practice and promote continuous improvement of materials processes and take advantage of cost reduction opportunities.
- Follow and comply with all Operational Procedures.
- Loading unloading material from the trucks.
Knowledge and Education
- Applicants will have one (1) year of recent verifiable driving experience.
- Demonstrable written and oral communication skills.
- Basic Math and English, with proven ability to read written instructions..
- Required to work overtime - including on weekends - to meet customer needs.
- Good organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
- Physically able to perform the essential duties of the position.
- Demonstrates the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Operate propane counterbalance and reach truck.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
