Job Description
The main duty of a PSW includes but not limitted to
Provide care to residents at the facility who require personal assistance with activities of daily living.
Provide additional care as delegated by an RN/RPN as needed and when it can be performed safely and within Provincial legislation.
Assist clients/residents(s) with activities of daily living such as feeding, lifts and transfers, bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, and toileting.
Assist with medication and medication reminders to person(s) in accordance with established facility or government policy.
Perform light housekeeping duties as assigned by the facility .
Continuously observe clients/resident and their environments, and must report and document unsafe conditions and behavioral, physical, and / or cognitive changes to an appropriate supervisor.
Communicate and demonstrate basic information to person(s) in relation to activities of daily living, light housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, in accordance with pre-established plan of care.
Complete and maintain related records and documentation such as communication books and progress notes.

Part-time hours: 20-40 per week
Salary: $30.00-$32.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Sarnia, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Psw Experience in a Long term care setting?: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- PSW Certificate from a Canadian Institution? (required)

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
- Overnight Shift (preferred)
